How to Send Outbound Faxes Using RightFax FaxUtil Web

To send a fax using RightFax, you will need to use the RightFax FaxUtil Web portal via your web browser.
1. Ensure you are on the Health Authority Network – either onsite or via remote access (i.e. VPN).
2. Go to https://rightfax.healthbc.org/rightfax/user/. Your account is authenticated by your Health Authority Network login (domain\ login ID) and you will see the following Home Page-Fax Mailbox.
- The left pane shows the available folders that contain faxed documents.
- The right pane shows the list of faxed documents within the selected folder.
- Click on New to open a New Fax.
- Enter the details of your fax as indicated below:
- Enter Fax number in Destination field (no spaces or dashes required).
- Attach the document you want to fax in the Attachments field.
- Cover Sheet - We recommend using the System Default cover sheet – it will populate with the details in the From fields (d).
- From fields will be pre-populated according to the information you have provided in your request form (see example in picture below) – you can modify as needed.
- Click Send.
